Delays.
The next time that person cuts you off in traffic, or the accident ahead has made your day just a little more interesting, maybe this is God’s delay. Maybe this setback is God’s plan to prevent a future crash?
Rather than letting setbacks and interruptions upset me, I use them as reminders that God is in control and He loves me. He has plans for me, from the day I was born.
The Bible views setbacks and interruptions not as accidental dead ends, but as tools for spiritual growth, tests of faith, and divine redirections.
We think we got life all figured out, then out of nowhere we are rerouted. I have started looking for God in these moments; asking Him to show me what my role is in this new direction.
Every setback is an opportunity to trust God more, to learn, and to grow. God can help you navigate difficult seasons by providing strength, peace, and the promise of a way forward.
Trust God in the delays.
Joshua 1:9 - “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
