Where are you, God?
There have been times in my life when I felt so alone, so defeated, so exhausted with my circumstances.
But, I have never given up on God. Even in the worst of times, God came through. It may not have been on my time clock, but He has never failed me.
The silence of God often means He is working behind the scenes to prepare you, align other circumstances, or test and deepen your faith. When God seems silent, the best response is to keep praying honestly while continuing to trust His character and wait patiently.
I love watching God work and it often happens when I least expect it. It may not be the immediate answer I would like, but I know it’s from God.
Don’t let God’s silence shake your faith. Just like gold is tested in fire, trials and silence test the true depth of human trust.
The next time you find yourself asking, “where are you God?” Look up. God’s silence doesn’t mean absence, it means He’s working behind the scenes!
Matthew 14:25-27 - “Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
