Perfect?

Romans 3:23 says “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”.

In a world that often celebrates the pursuit of perfection, many of us are caught in the cycle of trying to achieve flawless results. Whether it’s in our work, our appearance, or our relationships, the pressure to be perfect can be overwhelming. But as Christians, we are called not to pursue perfection, but to seek excellence.

We see it all the time in our society, people who strive for perfection; those high achievers who just want to be the best at whatever they do. However, striving toward perfectionism can be an exhausting and self-destructive mindset.

God also said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” God’s not looking for perfection in any of us, He’s asking for permission. God does not demand a flawless, sinless, or self-made life from people before He uses them; instead, He looks for a willing heart, surrender, and the "yes" to let Him work through them.

Quit striving to be what you think society wants. Remember, God doesn’t need you to be perfect. He simply wants you to honor Him in all that you do, and He promises to be with you every step of the way.
