Attitude.

If you’re not currently having problems in your life, then just wait. We will all face difficult situations, challenges that overwhelm us at times. It’s how we respond to these life events that makes a difference.

We can get bitter or we can be better than before. I’m not saying it’s easy to stay calm in every storm, but as a Christian, we can rest in knowing that we’re not in control, and that God is.

God already knows the outcome. He’s just watching to see if we truly believe in Him and His promises.

Jesus maintained a perfect attitude in every situation. He prayed about everything and worried about nothing. We, too, should seek God’s guidance about every aspect of our lives and allow Him to work out His perfect will.

How’s life treating you today? Is it difficult just to get out of bed? Turn things around today by thinking about all that is good in your life. Do you have a roof over your head; are you well fed?

I always found it interesting in how God works in my life during times of distress and worry. That’s when I turn my thoughts of pity and selfishness to helping others who are less fortunate.

Turn your attitude into gratitude for all God has blessed you with today.

Philippians 2:3-4 - “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
