Paradise.
In the beginning, God created Heaven and earth, and it was beautiful. The garden of Eden was our first glimpse of paradise. Untouched, the garden was God’s gift to mankind. Our relationship was broken between God and man when Eve ate the forbidden fruit, and life as it was became altered for eternity.
There are places on the planet that are beautiful, and it is up to us to keep it that way. There’s still war, hunger and natural disasters that make it hard to see the beauty all around us.
When was the last time you took five minutes to look around and thank God for the beautiful flowers, trees and luscious landscapes that surround us?
You may not find paradise in your surroundings, but if you give your life to Christ, He has promised a place of rest and refreshment to the righteous few.
I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to being with Jesus in paradise some day.
Luke 23:43 - Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
