Repeat Offender.
How often I find myself repeating the same mistakes, over and over again.
Sin is strange in that, even as a seasonal Christian, we sometimes think that there’s a category of sins. Oh, this one is not as bad as that one, and so on.
Unfortunately, a sin is a sin. There is no distinction between a minor or major sin. We may wonder if God will forgive us if we keep repeating the same sin. The answer is yes. Even the ones that have plagued you the longest and consumed you the most. God's forgiveness does not depend in the slightest degree on what you do or not do.
We will continue to stumble until the day we die. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t TRY not to sin.
Yes, God forgives and forgets, but if you know God and have a relationship with Him, you will work on not being that ‘repeat offender.’
Satan would have us think that there is no hope, that there is no possibility that we can be forgiven, healed, and restored. Why live a sinful life when Christ offers to make us whole and right in the eyes of God?
Choose God and release the devil’s grip on your life.
Romans 8:1-2 - “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
