Difining moments.
We’ve all had significant times in our lives that we will never forget. Some of these are happy, some sad, but most of all, life changing.
My very first one came when I lost my dad at the age of ten. It changed my life as I knew it. It was hard to understand then, and even now I sometimes wonder why God took him from me so early in my life.
Then, at the age of sixteen, the most powerful moment of my life was the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. It was more than an emotional experience or a decision I made, it was the moment my life changed direction. I realized my need for God’s grace, trusted in His sacrifice for my sins, and began a personal relationship with Him.
Since that day, my faith has become the foundation for how I live, make decisions, and relate to others. It has given me hope during difficult times, peace in uncertainty and purpose in my daily life.
God is not finished with me yet. I learn something new about God, and about myself every day.
What about you? Can you recall a watershed moment that changed who you used to be?
The best decision you will ever make is to follow Jesus. We’ve got this one life; don’t waste it chasing things that don’t matter. Choose Jesus today.
Romans 10:9 - “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
