Faith is the bridge
Our faith in Christ is the bridge where we are now and the path to where He's taking us.
I think most of us during our lifetime build more walls than bridges in our emotional lives. These walls are usually built to protect ourselves from hurt or maybe to separate ourselves from others that cause pain and turmoil in our lives. But Jesus doesn't want us to live that way. He designed us to be social creatures. Our first goal should be to have the faith in God's timing so that He can lead us to His destiny for us. Bridges are the opposite of walls; they are built to bring things together.
This life should be the time for us to prepare to meet God. But, are we preparing? We need to spend our time building this bridge of faith to cross and overcome the walls of unbelief, fear or sin.
It is because of Jesus that we can be reconciled with our Heavenly Father and that we can overcome the walls of sin and mortality.
Do you have what it takes? Do you have the faith to be obedient and patient for God's timing? If you do, you're above the curve. We all have aspirations and goals in our lives that we think on and maybe dwell upon each day. When God sees our faith in these times, He then begins to move us in the direction He's intended for us. That kind of faith (bridge) enables him to move you to your next destination/goal.
Be patient my friends. He has something so amazing for each of us that we can't even fathom.
John 14:6 - "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
