Seasons of life.
God gave us life, and not just life but life with variety.
I love the changing seasons where I live. Each one brings a change all it's own. If I could pick my favorite, it would be the fall season. It’s that perfect moment between the summer oppressing heat, yet right before the freezing frigid cold.
God has given each season of our lives its own joys and struggles. He doesn’t want us holding onto the past, the hurts of yesterday. God gives us peace and grace for moments we live in right now.
Soak up the beauty of today. Take a walk and revel in the landscape, the trees, the flowers. Whether you’re lying under an apple tree in the summer, or enjoying a crisp early morning walk, God is in it.
Embrace the season you are living in with gratitude. Yes, there will be seasons of heartache and sorrow, but God’s right there to hold you and guide you into the next season.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 - “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die a time to plant and a time to uproot,”
