I do.

Marriage is a beautiful bond that God created between man and woman. The ceremony begins with the husband and wife proclaiming their love, devotion and commitment by these two words, “I do.”

What about within our Christian walk? When you and I accepted Jesus as our savior, we essentially said, “I take Jesus as my personal savior, and I will accept Him into my heart and commit my whole life to Him forever and ever.”

The difference in the two are this: marriage can end in divorce, or death. Our relationship with Jesus never ends, because He already paid the price. He took on our sins so that we might have an eternal life with Him.

Marriage takes a lot of work, and even more so, does our life with Christ.

How about you? Have you thought about what happens to you after death? We will all spend eternity in one of two places. Don’t you want that to be in Heaven with our Creator?

Say “I do” to the Savior who sacrificed His own life to die on a cross so that we might be saved!

Galatians 2:20 - “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
